Now The “Real Season” Begins
Well, the App State game is entrenched in the books following a convincing 52-14 conquest for the Wolverines, so now it’s time for the “real season” to begin…taking on The Irish…The Irish…The Irish !!!
Sept. 6 under the lights should be a solid test for Michigan to see if the Wolverine running game has actually improved. Even if I take off the “Love Goggles,” I still see the Wolverines racking up at least 125 yards on the ground (to go with their Devin to Devin aerial attack) and thus surviving this contest, 23-17, in this final bout between these two storied rivals.
And meanwhile, out in Eugene, Oregon for the Big One, the “real season” also begins for the highly-touted Michigan State Spartans. Now this is a tough one to call. I have continually gone back and forth on the winner – but I am going to take the Oregon Ducks in a nail-biter, 38-34, with just a little too much crowd noise and depth (and ridiculous SPEED) at the skill position marking the difference
What Will Always A-Maize-Me
How FAST LSU looked in the second half against Wisconsin, and how laughable it was watching the Badgers two-minute drill — about as contemporary as the analog TV I was watching it on
Georgia’s Todd Gurley – and viewing his UGA record w/100-yd kickoff return TD…damn, that powerful kid can FRIGGIN FLY !!!
How I really think North Dakota State needs to join a Power 5 Conference. They own the Big 12 for God’s Sake.
The Big House attendance on Saturday 106,811 – marking 252 straight 100K plus games for the Wolverines
How the defensive term “Nickel Back” never used to be a FULL TIME position, But it sure is now in College Football with all of this spread offense attack.
That it has been seven years for Michigan Football since Wolverines had two backs rushed for over 100 yards until this past Saturday.
This Brady Hoke impersonation by former Wolverine Elliott Mealer. Classic. Check it out. http://foxs.pt/VV0OIs
