Michigan State defense holds Indiana to 11 yards in second half of 56-17 win
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Michigan State linebacker Ed Davis said the biggest adjustment the Spartans’ defense made at halftime against Indiana was attitude.
“We just grouped up together and said, `It’s us giving them big gains, we’re not in our proper gaps, and we’re not making plays,’ ” said Davis, who led the defense with six tackles and a sack. “We told ourselves we’ve got to make these plays.”
Michigan State (6-1, 3-0 Big Ten) held Indiana to 11 total yards of offense in the second half en route to the 56-17 victory at Memorial Stadium on Saturday. - Read more at MLive.com
