Mark Dantonio bristles a bit, gets through Michigan talk

EAST LANSING – Michigan State football coach Mark Dantonio’s least favorite day of the year — the news conference previewing the Michigan game — ended without any of the eyebrow-raising comments he tries to avoid.

At one point, Dantonio did stop, sigh and mutter: “Tough press conference.”

And it was a different tone than usual, considering that the No. 8 Spartans (6-1, 3-0 Big Ten) are huge favorites to beat the struggling Wolverines (3-4, 1-2) on Saturday at Spartan Stadium (3:30 p.m., ABC). So has this game lost any luster? - Read more at Freep.com
