Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio says Michigan football rivalry ‘gets in your blood’
EAST LANSING — Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio insists he hasn’t changed since being hired as the program’s head coach in 2007.
The Spartans’ rivalry with Michigan has taken on a different look in the Dantonio era, however, with Michigan State winning five of the past six meetings.
“Coach D has definitely put an emphasis on Michigan week,” Michigan State fifth-year senior offensive lineman Travis Jackson said Tuesday. “It’s sort of the battle for the state. It’s a slobberknocker of a game, and that’s how it’s been and that’s how we like it.” - Read more at MLive.com
