Co-offensive coordinator Dave Warner says Michigan will challenge Michigan State run game

EAST LANSING — Dave Warner made the bold statement before the season started that he wanted to see the Michigan State offense at or near the top of the rankings in the Big Ten this season.

The No. 8-ranked Spartans (6-1, 3-0 Big Ten) are there heading into Saturday’s 3:30 p.m. showdown with rival Michigan (3-4, 1-2) at Spartan Stadium.

But Warner, who as co-offensive coordinator calls the plays for the nation’s No. 3-ranked scoring offense (47 points per game), isn’t ready to say the Michigan State offense has arrived. - Read more at MLive.com
