Michigan drives stake pregame, Spartans answer in kind
EAST LANSING –Michigan State players and coaches were angered before the game by a Michigan player apparently throwing a stake or metal rod of some kind into the grass after the Wolverines entered the stadium from the tunnel.
A few U-M players gathered around Joe Bolden, according to most accounts, and he threw the object before MSU’s 35-11 win over the Wolverines.
