Mark Dantonio putting ‘fresh’ Michigan State team back on the practice field

EAST LANSING — Perhaps Michigan State will have simmered down a bit by the time the Spartans take to the practice field this afternoon.

Michigan State players were last seen following Saturday’s win over Michigan, saying they were upset over a well-documented stake-driving incident that came before kickoff of the rivalry game.

Coach Mark Dantonio gave his team the first few days of this week off while he and his assistants hit the road recruiting, following the same plan used during the bye week earlier this season. - Read more MLive.com
