Ask Griff: Don’t worry about College Football Playoff or Connor Cook’s NFL future

EAST LANSING — Michigan State has been on a bye week, but that has not translated to a quiet, uneventful week where Spartan football has been concerned.

In addition to taking his staff out on the road recruiting, no doubt making more inroads, Mark Dantonio has made his thoughts on the College Football Playoff rankings known, and Connor Cook has said just enough about his future to let you know it’s unclear, as far as whether or not he’ll return for a senior season.

Oh, and don’t forget the No. 8-ranked Spartans (7-1, 4-0 Big Ten) are just over a week away from playing No. 13 Ohio State (6-1, 3-0) with an East Division title and a trip to the Big Ten championship game on the line at Spartan Stadium at 8 p.m. on Nov. 8. - Read more at MLive.com
