MSU’s Williamson mentors teammates, even those who want his job

EAST LANSING – Michigan State defensive coordinator Pat Narduzzi came away from Saturday’s 35-11 win over Michigan with junior safety RJ Williamson on his mind.

It wasn’t Williamson’s interception for a touchdown, breaking open the game in the third quarter, which grabbed Narduzzi’s attention. It wasn’t his speed getting to ballcarriers and sure tackling, elements that were missing at times as Williamson lost his starting spot earlier in the season.
