EAST LANSING — The hype machine has done a slow buildup on the Michigan State-Ohio State football game, but suddenly, it’s here.
Or, should we say, ESPN and its talented cast of hosts have arrived in East Lansing.
The “First Take” show with Stephen A. Smith and Skip Bayless broadcast from the MSU Student Union on Friday and featured appearances from Tom Izzo and Mark Dantonio.
College GameDay will begin its series of pregame teases and telecasts from campus this afternoon leading up to the Saturday morning show.
The No. 8-ranked Spartans (7-1, 4-0 Big Ten) play host to No. 13 Ohio State (7-1, 4-0) in a game that will likely determine the Big Ten East Division champion in addition to potentially factoring in to the College Football Playoff.
