Michigan State CB Darian Hicks just another Spartans starter from Ohio without Buckeyes offer

EAST LANSING — Michigan State has 27 players and 10 starters from the state of Ohio on its roster, and each had a different degree of involvement with Ohio State during the recruiting process.

But all their stories had the same ending: No scholarship offer from the Buckeyes.

How much all that pent up resentment actually comes into play when No. 8 Michigan State (7-1 4-0 Big Ten) plays against No. 13 Ohio State (7-1, 4-0) is anyone’s guess, but it certainly has been talked about leading up to the Big Ten East Division showdown.
