I Can’t Choose!

To all of my readers, I’m sorry I didn’t write last Saturday - I had a bye week. So, this week’s showdown is against the Ohio State Buckeyes. This game could, literally, go either way. Michigan State has been playing extremely well, but they haven’t really got to test their skills against “good” competition lately. Ohio State, on the other hand, has overcome so many obsticals this season with losing Braxton Miller and all. However, their backup, T.J. Barrett, has stepped up to fill his shoes very nicely - some would say even better. So today, I’m not going to make a prediction because I truly believe that this game could go either way. I don’t really agree with the people who say it’s gonna be a blowout because, like my Dad would say, “Ohio State ain’t no chump team.” The Buckeyes really want to win this game because of what happened in the Big Ten Championship game last year. Michigan State also really wants to win because they are still in the playoff hunt; plenty of players on the Spartans’ roster are Ohio natives; a lot of the MSU coaching staff are Ohio natives or used to coach at Ohio State. In short, there is plenty of common ground in the Big Ten’s hottest new rivalry. In conclusion, this game, in my opinion, is a toss up. Despite where my heart is, I can’t choose! So whether you’re there in the cold (39 degrees at the time of this writing) at Spartan Stadium, or watching at home, I say good luck to both teams and Go Green!
