MSU vs. Ohio State - 5 things to watch
1. J.T. Barrett
If college football had a preseason, Ohio State would be unbeaten and ranked in the top four. Its redshirt freshman quarterback needed time to find his footing. He has — in a big way. Barrett has thrown 23 touchdowns against just seven interceptions, completing close to 65 percent of his passes and leading the Big Ten in pass efficiency. But he has never seen a defense like he’ll face tonight. Michigan State leads the Big Ten in sacks, allows less than 100 yards rushing per game and is stuffing opponents on close to 75 percent of third-down attempts. Barrett will have to be quick with decisions and resilient against a crew known for pounding dual-threat QBs.
