Ohio State coach Urban Meyer: Buckeyes ‘played our best’ in win over Michigan State

EAST LANSING — Urban Meyer said earlier this week that Michigan State “ripped away” Ohio State’s dream last season.

On Saturday night, the Buckeyes returned the favor, ripping off one big play after another in scoring a 49-37 victory over the Spartans to dash MSU’s College Football Playoff hopes.

Ohio State, at 8-1 and 5-0 in the league, now represents the Big Ten’s best shot at making the four-team playoff. Michigan State (7-2, 4-1) likely will finish out the season aiming for a top-10 ranking and a fourth consecutive bowl victory outside of the playoff. - Read more at MLive.com
