Up to the Minute:

Only one team will exit Michigan State-Ohio State game in contention for College Football Playoff

EAST LANSING — Mark Dantonio says it’s about “measuring up” to Ohio State, and Urban Meyer said Michigan State “is in the way.”

Those two teams will enter Spartan Stadium for tonight’s 8 p.m. kickoff, but only one team will leave with College Football Playoff hopes intact and control of the Big Ten East Division. . . .

The No. 7-ranked Spartans (7-1, 4-0 Big Ten) are favored by a field goal, give or take a point, against No. 13 Ohio State (7-1, 4-0).

Both teams bring impressive streaks into the game. Michigan State has won 12 straight at home, while the Buckeyes have tied the Big Ten record their program set from 2005-07 with 20 consecutive regular season conference wins. Ohio State also owns a nation’s-best 11-game road win streak.

Something’s got to give, and neither coach plans on it being their football team. - Read more at MLive.com
