Mark Dantonio: Ohio State formations and QB J.T. Barrett kept Michigan State defense on heels
EAST LANSING — Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio has continued to praise the Ohio State game plan following the Spartans’ 49-37 loss to the Buckeyes, and Sunday he went into greater detail.
The No. 12 Spartans (7-2, 4-1 Big Ten) play at Maryland (6-3, 3-2) at 8 p.m. next Saturday, but before looking forward to the Terrapins, Dantonio put the cap on the pivotal loss to Ohio State that essentially ended MSU’s hopes of making the College Football Playoff as well as the Big Ten championship game.
To win the Big Ten East and play in the conference title game, the Spartans would need to win their final three games and have No. 8 Ohio State lose two of its final three games (at Minnesota, home vs. Indiana and Michigan). - Read more at MLive.com
