Michigan State can break historical trend with strong finish to season

I thought that’s what I was watching when J.T. Barrett was directing the Ohio State offense in Saturday night’s 49-37 win at Michigan State.
Maryland (6-3, 3-2 Big Ten) will be the next football team to line up against Pat Narduzzi’s “press quarters” scheme, looking to cash in next Saturday night.
It’s a game No. 12-ranked Michigan State (7-2, 4-1) can not afford to lose.
“It’s critical,” Spartans head coach Mark Dantonio said. “It’s critical we get up and play through the pain and reestablish ourselves.”
