Michigan State opens as a 10 1/2-point favorite to win at Maryland
EAST LANSING — Michigan State players said they will bounce back from Saturday night’s pivotal loss to Ohio State, and it appears oddsmakers agree.
The Spartans have opened as a 10 1/2-point favorite at Maryland in next Saturday’s 8 p.m. game at College Park, according to Vegasinsider.com.
Michigan State (7-2, 4-1 Big Ten) fell to No 12 in the AP Top 25 and USA Today coaches poll on Sunday in the wake of its 49-37 loss to the No. 8 Buckeyes (7-1, 5-0) at Spartan Stadium.
