I am so tired of this crap!
I am intrigued by the Tweet this week of former Michigan linebacker (and current Arizona Cardinal) Larry Foote — “Better change up their recruiting and get back to the hood. They have too many trust fund babies.”
So, “Lar” – you think Michigan’s current players are too “soft?” Problem is they are either “too” everything – “too inexperienced”…..”too undisciplined” (off the field)…and “too mistake prone” (Devin Gardner turnovers). Or they are “not” everything – “not physical enough” (to create turnovers) – “not efficient enough” (catching the football)…or “not productive enough” (running the football).
Most glaring this past week is the “too undisciplined” (off the field) variable – i.e. the latest of many screw ups, this one being defensive end Frank Clark being charged with domestic violence and assault after an incident with his girlfriend Saturday night at a Sandusky, Ohio, hotel. I say — Yeppers – time for a change. Time to cleanse the program and start over with a new head coach and a stronger level of player accountability within this football program. How much more justification do we need?
