Hiring Harbaugh would be like taking a Prednisone shot
I wonder how many times this question has been posed in conversations amongst Michigan fans over the last 3 weeks — “So, ah, what is the latest on Harbaugh?”
What do you think? Couple million times? Maybe more?
Damn, this Michigan coaching search is really getting kinda old. And the fatiguing part is not having to endure the required time to find out who it is going to be so much — not that damaging from a recruiting standpoint because we are in that so called “dead period” until January 14th. But the part I friggin’ can’t stand is constantly having to hear is all of the “noise” on Twitter and certain blogs about the latest Top 4 candidates, and such, which seems to fluctuate daily. I swear to God, there are so many “insiders”to the Michigan football coaching search that I cannot believe there are enough “outsiders” out there to listen to the “insiders”
Regardless who ends up the next Michigan head football coach – indeed the most important “hire” in the history of Michigan Athletics – I have to say this — the hiring of Jim Harbaugh to “come home” to lead the Wolverines would equate to a very ill full body aching person taking a Prednisone shot. It’s that super Steriod that makes the pain go away – at least temporarily — and makes it like “ah yes, everything is going to be alright – I feel great !!!”
Yes, a “quick fix” to Michigan football is what the doctor ordered. And Jim Harbaugh is that quick fix.
