Grading the Spartans’ Cotton Bowl win

This grade was about a 2 entering the fourth quarter. Five fruitless drives in the middle of the game were nearly too much for MSU to overcome. But Connor Cook and Co. found themselves again in the fourth quarter, putting together three gutty scoring drives, the last the winning connection from Cook to Keith Mumphery with 17 seconds left.
