Gary Harris: Denzel Valentine must ‘do it all’ for MSU

EAST LANSING – Gary Harris took a seat a few feet away from where his Michigan State locker was last year and started breaking down the story of the day — his close friend Denzel Valentine.

Valentine had just hit the biggest shot of his career, a three-pointer with 3.2 seconds left to lift MSU to a 59-56 win over No. 23 Ohio State on Saturday at the Breslin Center. After that 17-point effort, Tom Izzo made it clear that unless Valentine “has a broken arm,” he’s going to be MSU’s go-to guy in such situations. - Read more at Freep.com
