Spartans loose and happy on their winning streak

EAST LANSING – Michigan State junior center Matt Costello was trying to explain that the Spartans are happy again because of how they’re playing, not just that they’re winning, when a loud howl erupted behind him Thursday in the MSU practice gym.

Sophomore center Gavin Schilling had just upset senior guard Travis Trice in a free throw competition, and Costello turned around to deliver the ribbing Trice’s performance demanded. Then he turned back to reporters. - Read more at Freep.com
