MSU’s Trice reflects on Lacey as Senior Night nears

EAST LANSING – Travis Trice was on the Breslin Center floor, thousands watched from the stands, and he delivered with as much courage as could be summoned in the pressure moment of his time at Michigan State.

Trice was speaking on behalf of the MSU basketball team on April 17 at the celebration of the life of Lacey Holsworth. The 8-year-old girl from St. Johns passed away nine days earlier after battling cancer. He read two verses from the Bible and told the story of Lacey bringing a smile to his face after a loss to North Carolina. - Read more at Freep.com
