Could Reggie Wayne Catch Peyton Manning’s Passes Again?

Reggie Wayne’s career in Indianapolis is over. So now what? Does he retire? No, Wayne went public today saying that he wants to play another year, but only for a contender. Sorry Jacksonville, Minnesota, and Oakland, but there is only one team that Wayne is going to consider, one team in particular he was talking about when he said, “Only for a contender.”

With Peyton Manning cleared and signed to play another year in Denver, yes, you guessed it… Reggie Wayne and Peyton Manning are going to join forces once again, for one last time.

Now, don’t get me wrong… That is the likely scenario, but Wayne could pull a 180 and see what it’s like to go play with Tom Brady in New England. If the Vegas odds makers were to open a bet on this, I’d put all my money on that Wayne ends up in Denver on Tuesday. We shall see.
