BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Spartans were missing Branden Dawson, out after taking a shot to the head in Wednesday’s win over Purdue.
They were getting very little from Travis Trice – three points, two fouls. Their other big gun, Denzel Valentine, had two points. It was halftime at Indiana, a team desperate for a win with its NCAA tournament – and the game was tied.
