Dolphins Offer Suh 6-yr, $114 Million, $60 Million Guaranteed Deal

The Miami Dolphins are apparantly prepared to do whatever it takes to lock up the biggest free agent defensive tackle signing since Albert Haynesworth signed a blockbuster deal in Washington.

Reports early this afternoon indicate that the Dolphins have a 6-year, $114 million deal with $60 million of that guaranteed on the table for Ndamukong Suh. As I reported yesterday, Suh has high interest in taking his talents to South Beach, now with this $19 million a year deal on the table we can expect the former Lions defensive tackle to be signed on Tuesday by Miami.

The Lions didn’t just let Suh walk out the door without making a offer. The team offered Suh a deal reportedly worth $17 million per year with $58 million in guarantees, totaling out to $102 million dollars overall, according to Lions team source. Nevertheless, it appears that Ndamukong Suh’s days in Detroit are over.
