MSU could see OSU rematch in Big Ten Tourney
Michigan State has carried the Big Ten men’s basketball flag for nearly two decades now and Ohio State has been right there with the Spartans for the past decade under Thad Matta, creating a rivalry so evenly matched it’s almost bizarre.
Consider: Tom Izzo and Matta are 11-11 against each other, with seven of the past eight meetings decided by four points or less. And in those 22 games, Ohio State has 1,433 points to MSU’s 1,432.
Those numbers might just change Friday in the nightcap of the Big Ten tournament quarterfinals at Chicago’s United Center (about 9 p.m., Big Ten Network). - Read more at Michigan.com
