East Lansing — Michigan State had plenty at stake heading into Saturday’s game at Indiana, and getting that 74-72 victory achieved the primary goal — clinching the No. 3 seed in the Big Ten tournament.

The Spartans (21-10, 12-6) finished the regular season in a tie for third place with Iowa and Purdue but locked up the third seed in the tournament because they beat both those teams during the season. - Read more at Detnews.com
