Minnesota Vikings In The Mix For WR Michael Crabtree

Sources have confirmed this afternoon that come 4:00 PM tomorrow the Minnesota Vikings will make a very strong push for San Francisco 49’ers wide receiver Michael Crabtree. The 49’ers could ink a deal with Crabtree, but the closer we get to being under the 24-hour window, the more dismal that possibility seems.

The Vikings are in need of additions to there receiving corps in Minnesota, the 28-year old receiver will be able to add great depth to the Vikings at wideout. Other possibilities for Minnesota to pursue are Jeremy Maclin and Torrey Smith. Yesterday, reports linked Maclin to Kansas City saying that a deal will be finalized come tomorrow at 4:01 PM.

Michael Crabtree denied playing through a foot injury last season. However, if you were to look at the film, it clearly suggests otherwise. Any team that is interested in signing him will have to hold onto hope he can return to his impressive pre-Achilles tear form.
