Antrel Rolle, Eddie Royal Expected To Sign With Chicago, McPhee Becomes Official

Former New York Giants safety, Antrel Rolle, is meeting with Chicago Bears GM, Ryan Pace, today. Meanwhile, former San Diego Chargers wide receiver, Eddie Royal, was in Chicago yesterday. Both are expected to sign with the team today. Yesterday, Rolle hinted that he was going to be a Bear, while last night, reports indicated that an Eddie Royal deal being done with the Bears was possible.

I am told they have terms in place, but deals have not been finalized. The Bears are also meeting with Kansas City Chiefs safety Ron Parker. He is expected in Chicago this afternoon to meet with front office and test his interest in signing with the team.

At 11:30 am central time today, the Bears announced that the deal between the team and Ravens LB Pernell McPhee is now official. McPhee has passed a physical and now has signed his five-year contract. He will be officially introduced at Halas Hall this afternoon at 2 pm central time.
