Michigan State starts spring football practice Tuesday and ends it with the April 25 spring game at Spartan Stadium. Joe Rexrode looks at five story lines for the Spartans this spring.

MSU has gone with “No Fly Zone” as a nickname for its secondary the past two years, but everyone is gone from the incredible 2013 defensive backfield that earned the title. Darqueze Dennard and Isaiah Lewis left after that season, and now Trae Waynes and Kurtis Drummond join them — Waynes considered a lock to follow Dennard as a first-round NFL draft pick.
