MSU’s Nairn, OU’s Hield represent Bahamas, friendship

EAST LANSING – Yes, they share a Bahamian background, but that’s just part of why Buddy Hield was so drawn to Lourawls (Tum Tum) Nairn when Nairn arrived at his Kansas prep school in 2011.

“I’d never seen anyone who pushes themselves like I push myself,” Hield said in a phone interview this week. “I just liked that kid right away, and we stuck together from the first day. He pushed me a lot to where I am now.” - Read more at Freep.com
