– Izzo said that he gets along very well with the other three Final Four coaches. He said John Calipari doesn’t get enough credit for what he does.
– “Everyone wants one-and-done players,” Izzo said. “When we don’t, that’s jealousy on our part.” He said he recruited some of the Duke freshman stars for three or four years and wishes they were at Michigan State.
– Izzo also said Magic Johnson has been great and evaluates and advises on the team.
