Behind the scenes, MSU’s managers keep Spartans ticking

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – “Hashtag redo,” they kept saying last week – that’s #redo in Twitter-ese, and it’s the latest addition to the language Michigan State’s basketball managers speak to each other.

The idea actually came to MSU director of basketball operations Kevin Pauga, a former team manager, when Tom Izzo and several MSU players went to watch the managers play in an intramural basketball game last week. CBS cameras were there for some all-access footage, as they were a year ago for a managers basketball game – but the 2014 footage never saw the light of day after MSU failed to make the Final Four. - Read more at Freep.com
