Final Four scouting report: Duke offense hard to stop
Free Press sports writer Joe Rexrode scouts Saturday’s national semifinal between No. 7 seed Michigan State and No. 1 seed Duke:

Backcourts with size bother MSU, and that’s not much of an issue here. Quinn Cook is 6-feet-2, Tyus Jones 6-1. But they can drive and shoot. Cook has raised his game this season and this tournament, very similar to MSU’s Travis Trice. The production of both players will say a lot about the outcome. Meanwhile, Lourawls (Tum Tum) Nairn has a much larger role than he did when the teams first met, and his defense on Tyus Jones will be key. Denzel Valentine and Matt Jones, both 6-5, match up logically. Matt Jones has been hitting shots, but Valentine likely will do a lot as a help defender.
