MSU finishes No. 7 in poll, lands on early top-25 lists

National outlets are ready to hit “send” on the premature preseason top-25 lists as soon as the national title game wraps, and there’s a wide range of early takes on Michigan State – which finished No. 7 in the final coaches poll after a surprise run to the Final Four.

Some, such as CBS’ Gary Parrish, ESPN’s Joe Lunardi and Big Ten Network’s Tom Dienhart, are high on Tom Izzo’s 2015-16 team, which loses Branden Dawson and Travis Trice.
