MSU’s Barnett adjusting to new job, new defensive backs

Now that they’re partners in defensive coordination, Harlon Barnett and Mike Tressel will be in the same place on Saturdays in the fall – the Michigan State coaching box.

Barnett said today on “The Drive with Jack Ebling” on 92.1-FM in Lansing that MSU tried out the new configuration for Friday’s first scrimmage of spring football, and that will be the plan moving forward. Barnett was in the coaching box along with former MSU defensive coordinator Pat Narduzzi for the first eight seasons of Mark Dantonio’s tenure at MSU, with Tressel on the sideline. - Read more at Freep.com
