MSU’s McDowell says he’s totally different in 2nd year

Shilique Calhoun might have been the first person to bring him up all spring, but it’s hard to imagine that a 6-foot-6, 285-pound athlete such as Malik McDowell could go unnoticed for long.

Michigan State football coach Mark Dantonio has mentioned that McDowell is “playing well” and has “solidified himself” as a starter up front, but Calhoun cited McDowell this week as one of the players standing out to him during spring practice. - Read more at Freep.com
