TE Lyles, DE Sweat have big days in MSU’s scrimmage
EAST LANSING – One came to Michigan State as a defensive end, the other was initially recruited a tight end, and they’ve switched and turned this spring into campaigns for heavy duty in the fall.
Jamal Lyles (Southfield-Lathrup) has been an enticing downfield prospect since switching from defense as a redshirt freshman in 2013. Quarterback Connor Cook said last week that he wants to get Lyles more involved this season — after missing several chances to target an open Lyles in a five-catch 2014 season — and that the sure-handed Lyles is making himself more available. - Read more at Freep.com
