Fully back from injury, MSU DT Knox having solid spring

EAST LANSING – Back injuries and defensive linemen don’t mix well, and two of Michigan State’s key interior players have made gradual returns from such injuries in the past two seasons.

Lawrence Thomas was limited in 2013 — missing the first seven games — because of a back ailment. Damon Knox missed all of 2014 preseason camp and the first four games of last season with a back injury, and he said after MSU’s Cotton Bowl victory over Baylor that he was never completely healthy all season. - Read more at Freep.com
