Couch: MSU’s NFL roster doesn’t reflect its winning
As a child with an active imagination, I used to create rosters of football, basketball and baseball teams, writing them out sometimes on what were supposed to be math assignments. I’d act out their games in the living room or backyard. If you were really lucky, you were among the tennis players I pretended to be as I punished the wood panels on my parents’ garage.
Some of the names were made up. Others were make-believe teams with real players. Among the daydreaming exercises was assembling pro football and basketball rosters entirely of players from the state of Michigan or its two major college programs. - Read more at LSJ.com
