Hey Joe: MSU spring game DVR review, observations

Before the NFL draft takes over for the weekend, here are some observations from the Big Ten Network telecast of the spring game. The next time the public watches Michigan State play football, it will be the night of Sept. 4 at Western Michigan (the Friday of Labor Day weekend, time TBA).

• MSU senior linebacker Darien Harris has talked about his intent to play faster, and it looked that way in the spring game. Much has been made of Madre London being caught from behind on his 50-yard run after getting a head start of about 5 yards or so, but what about the fact that Harris was one of the guys (along with safeties Montae Nicholson and Mark Meyers) who made up that ground on him? - Read more at Freep.com
