NFL draft: Vikings take MSU’s Trae Waynes at 11th overall
The lowly “two-star” recruit arrives at college with little fanfare, gets to work, moves past several higher-ranked players, becomes a starter, becomes a star and ends up in the first round of the NFL draft.
It doesn’t happen often. It just happened at Michigan State for the second year in a row.
