Hey Joe: Biggie of an MSU mailbag, on Caleb Swanigan

I’m on a nine-year roll here of avoiding anonymous sources, and I’m hoping that isn’t violated when I report today something heard in the general vicinity of the Michigan State campus: “It’s no biggie.”

See, this stuff actually isn’t life or death.

Caleb (Biggie) Swanigan has moved on from MSU, though until he actually signs somewhere, I wouldn’t rule out many final scenarios. ESPN.com, Dan Dakich and others have him going to Purdue now — and don’t forget, when Swanigan gave MSU a verbal commitment on April 10, Purdue wasn’t even in his final three. Cal and Duke were the other two back then, or at least that’s what he told me on the phone a few days later. - Read more at Freep.com
