Spartans move on from former commit Swanigan
East Lansing — So Michigan State’s five-star recruit, the one that shot the Spartans near the top of the recruiting rankings and likely would have made them a top-10 team entering next season, has changed his mind.
Caleb Swanigan, the 6-foot-8 post player from Ft. Wayne, Ind., decided Thursday he wasn’t going to play at Michigan State. Instead, after failing to sign a national letter of intent some four weeks after verbally committing to the Spartans, he had a change of heart. - Read more at DetNews.com
