Special Guests: College Football and MSU Hall of Famer, Gene Washington, and his filmmaker, writer, actor, educator, daughter, Maya Washington, talk about their upcoming film, “Through the Banks of the Red Cedar” which tells the story Gene and three of his teammates - all players of color, who were literally dropped into an integrated environment for the first time, at the height of the Civil Rights Movement in America - who laid a foundation as MSU’s 1965 and 1966 National Championship teams (with four later representing MSU as first round picks in the 1967 NFL Draft).
