49ers sign MSU/Detroit Renaissance product Mylan Hicks

Make it five Spartans with free-agent NFL deals after the San Francisco 49ers announced Monday they have inked Mylan Hicks to a three-year contract.

The 49ers’ official team website reported the news after Hicks tried out at San Francisco’s rookie minicamp — participating along with free-agent signee Marcus Rush, a four-year starting defensive end at MSU who is trying to make the team as an outside linebacker in its 3-4 defense. - Read more at Freep.com
