Five Spartans on Phil Steele’s preseason All-American team

Michigan State was well-represented on college football analyst Phil Steele’s preseason All-American team released Monday.

Steele’s annual All-American list included five Spartan players, with center Jack Allen, left tackle Jack Conklin, defensive end Shilique Calhoun and long snapper Taybor Pepper all named second-team All-American. Senior quarterback Connor Cook was included on the fourth team. - Read more at LSJ.com
