Tom Izzo’s spring: Visiting Draymond Green, Nick Saban

If you’re looking for Michigan State basketball coach Tom Izzo in the next couple of weeks, start with a courtside search — he has plans to attend at least one NBA Finals game at Golden State and one at Cleveland.

Golden State features one of Izzo’s favorite former players, Draymond Green. Cleveland is owned by MSU alumnus Dan Gilbert, who tried to hire Izzo in 2010. One of those two will be speaking indirectly to MSU recruiting targets as the Cavaliers and Warriors battle for the title. - Read more at Freep.com
